Sagunto Port, located north of Valencia, is a versatile facility primarily handling steel, bulk cargo, LNG, and containers. It features three quays, a Pantalan outer pier, and an LNG berth.
The South Quay serves steel and ammonia unloading, while the North Quay handles fertilizers and general cargo. The Central Quay manages perishables. Pantalan Pier accommodates vessels up to 75,000GT. The port boasts 220,000 m2 of yard area, 55,000 m2 of warehouses, and various equipment. It handles 10% of the region’s traffic, with LNG as the main cargo and significant iron and steel shipments alongside fertilizers and perishables.
